The Glenelg School of Abu Dhabi (GSAD) Female and Male campus libraries will strive to help students become efficient, inquisitive seekers and users of information. Information literacy and research skills will be offered through curriculum integration.

Resources

Each library will be fully equipped with Audio Visual equipment, computer technology and print collections developed to support the GSAD curriculum. Group study rooms, a relaxed reading corner, and designated computer stations for database research will be designed to motivate and encourage use of the library’s facilities.  Each library will have an interactive Promethean smart board located in the Instruction Area.

Collections

The libraries will house fiction, nonfiction, biography, reference and professional development collections as well as audio visual material, journals, and newspapers. Multi-lingual print collections in English, Arabic and French are designed to enhance the areas of study taught at GSAD as well as to encourage a lifelong love of reading.
