Starting in October, Glenelg School will be offering students the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities which may take place before school, after school, or at lunchtime. The program may include sports, visual arts, dance, music, crafts, and computer activities. Other activities may be offered if there is enough interest. Each activity will run for a minimum of one semester.

The list of activities being offered for Semester 1 is included in the Appendix at the back of this handbook. Homeroom advisor will distribute enrolment forms near the beginning of the semester. Students are expected to enroll in at least one activity each semester, with the general expectation that the student regularly attends at least two ECAs each semester. Students should hand in completed forms to their advisor on or before the end of the third week of September. Please note that for some activities places may be limited and students may not get their first choice. Enrolment for Semester 2 will begin towards the end of Semester 1.
 
In general, ECAs have no fees or additional purchases. However, some activities may involve the purchase of special equipment or clothing. Such items will be noted on the sign-up list. 

Expectations of student behavior during this activity time remain the same as for the rest of the school day.
