Academics

The curriculum of the Glenelg School of Abu Dhabi is based upon that of the Glenelg Country School in Maryland, USA, and has been adapted for UAE students. Students follow a set curriculum which includes the core subjects English, Mathematics, Science, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and PE. World Language is also a core subject for grades 7, 8, 9, and 10. Humanities courses are also offered for all grades as well as courses in Information Technology, Music, and Fine Arts.

Students about to enter Grade 11 will have certain choices open to them, based on their interests and aspirations as well as their academic achievements to date.
