As educators, our goal is to foster scientific literacy in students that goes beyond the regurgitation of facts, figures, and word meanings. Our students must understand the process of scientific discovery and its effects on society. At GSAD, our students study the theoretical and practical aspects of science. All science courses involve a significant lab component where students conduct real-world experiments to see for themselves science in action.
Science courses offered at GSAD include the following:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- AP Biology
- AP Chemistry
- AP Physics
- Biology I, II, III, IV
- Chemistry I, II, III, IV
- Environmental Studies (1/2 Credit)
- Introduction to Marine Ecology Research
- Life Science 7
